Consuelo Zobel Alger Foundation
Consuelo Foundation is a U.S.-based, foundation established in 1988 and is involved in the promotion of the well-being of at-risk children, women, and families in the Philippines and Hawai’i, seeking to prevent and treat their abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
The project
I took over from an unfinished web development project that got delayed and eventually stalled while in the “build” phase during the pandemic. The previous iteration was started initially by the previous dev using DIVI, an old pagebuilder that had a terrible reputation for churning out horrendously bloated code.
The previous unfinished build was scrapped and the project was redeveloped entirely from scratch using Bricks Builder and AutomaticCSS (ACSS) and was launched in record time.
The site’s content and functionality is divided between the clients’ two regional offices, Philippines and Hawaii, a resource hub, and was setup as a WordPress Network (Multisite) configuration.
