The Manila Hotel, built in 1909, is a historic five-star hotel located along Manila Bay in Manila, Philippines. It is known as the country’s oldest premiere hotel. It is most notable for its penthouse which served as the residence of General Douglas MacArthur during his tenure as the Military Advisor of the Philippine Commonwealth from 1935 to 1941.

The project

Revamped an almost 10-yr-old custom WordPress template with mostly deprecated code and remapped old deadlinks to new content and performed other onpage SEO tasks.

The main website, initially built as an Elementor website in 2019, upon request by the client, to allow them to edit pages themselves, is currently being redeveloped in Bricks Builder this 2024.

Introduced an online storefront to process takeout orders during months-long lockdown caused by the pandemic. Rebuilt the storefront of the takeout subdomain under Bricks Builder in 2021.
